the estia variety show

Rachel will be dancing Annika Wong choreography in The ESTIA Variety Show on December 14th at Fiction Bar/Cafe in Brooklyn. It will be a night full of dance, poetry, music, comedy, and more! Find sliding scale tickets here!

red bucket follies

Rachel is in rehearsals for the opening number Andrew Turteltaub and Sarah Parker have created for the Red Bucket Follies! Come see a variety of songs, skits, and dances at the New Amsterdam Theare on December 9th and 10th. These shows celebrate the six weeks of fundraising Broadway, Off-Braodway, and touring productions have done for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS

I Put a spell on you

Rachel was blown away by the night of talent that was I Put A Spell On You. They were in one of the "Psych Ward Suite" pieces choreographed by Hope Melody Easterbook. It was a true joy, and we were able to raise over $230,000 for the Ali Forney Center. More info on the night here!

night of life

It was an honor to be a part of another Night of Life benefitting The Trevor Project. Rachel danced in a piece choreographed by Trent Soyster, "That Special," sung live by Joe Serafini. The event raised over $18,000!

Do you party?

Rachel had the time of their life portraying Abby in Megan Rivkin's Do You Party? at The Vineyard Theatre. This play was part of the 49th Annual Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival.  Virtual program can be seen here.

Fiddler On The roof

Rachel is a week into Fiddler On The Roof rehearsal at North Shore Music Theatre and is simply floored by the company they are in. They have the honor of being a Villager and an understudy to Chava, which is an absolute dream role. Don't miss this stunning classic in the round! Tickets here.

Nice Work If You Can Get it

Rachel is laughing up a storm in their rehearsals for Nice Work If You Can Get It at CVRep. It is really exciting to be back at this beautiful theatre to play Jeannie Muldoon with a wonderful team. Royalty: royals of the 2000's

Rachel performed in "Hot N Cold" and "So What" at Leg Up On Life's Royalty: Royals of 2000's at Red Eye NYC. She loved living her back up dancer dreams for her extremely talented friends. The event raised $1000 for The Ali Forney Center.

Night of life

Rachel was honored to perform on Sony Hall's stage for Night of Life, Leg Up On Life's largest event of the year. This community was able to come together and raise over $13,000 to benefit The Trevor Project. They danced to an all time favorite musical theatre song: "Strongest Suit" from Aida

cabaret

Rachel is over the moon to be in their first production of Cabaret at Coachella  Valley Repertory. This story matters deeply to them and they cannot wait to bring it to life January 24- February 10. Outside it is winter, but in here it's so hot! Grab your tickets fast... shows are selling out!

Oliver

Rachel is currently rehearsing as the dance captain of Oliver! at 5 Star Theatricals. If you will be in the Los Angeles area in October, come check it out!

west side story international tour

This December, Rachel will begin touring West Side Story to beautiful places around the world, including Tokyo, Dublin, Bankok, Düsseldorf, Dubai, and Paris. They are swinging 8 ensemble tracks, and covering Anybody's and the "Somewhere" Soloist. Read more about the production here

Pup! a chew story

Rachel is stoked to be making their NYC debut in a 45-minute reading of Pup! A Chew Story at New World Stages. Pup! will be one of eight musicals presenting at the 34th Annual National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) Festival of New Musicals. More info here!

NON-STOP

Rachel had choreographed to "Non-Stop" from Hamilton for a musical theatre dance intensive they taught at Fifth Row Center Performing Arts. On the way to the studio one day, she thought of some cool concepts for filming it, and called up her friends at Next Stop Creatives. From there, a passion project was born. It can be viewed under the "Media" tab on this website, or on Rachel's Vimeo.

Grease

Rachel will be playing Frenchy in Musical Theatre West's production of Grease! She is so excited to have her first professional opportunity to perform for friends and family from home. Get tickets here!

Escape to margaritaville

Rachel is so humbled to be joining the National Tour of Jimmy Buffet's Escape to Margaritaville as female ensemble and an understudy to Tammy. More information can be found at Playbill, Broadway World, and TheaterMania, as well as on the Escape to Margaritaville website.

recent idols

Rachel had the pleasure of starring in Vivian Gray's Recent Idols, a film that follows the journey of a closeted young woman experiencing a sexual awakening through a group of queer idols. As a queer woman herself, Rachel loved working with a queer director to tell a story about the importance of visibility.

Tiny desk concert

Maddie Ince and Rachel Kay went live on Syracuse University's Blackbox Players' Instagram to celebrate Pride Month. They raised over $500 for The Okra Project, a collective committed to limiting hunger in the Black Trans Community, arguably the most marginalized group in our world today.
